ENGWE M20 — light and agile

  • Lighter (34 kg), so it is easier to carry up stairs or lift onto a kerb.
  • Our most popular bike for everyday city deliveries.
  • Mechanical disc brakes are simple and easy to service.

ENGWE M1 — comfort for long shifts

  • Larger seat: more comfortable on long shifts.
  • Slightly bigger battery capacity (28.6 Ah).
  • Heavier (43 kg), so better if you rarely need to carry the bike.

Rider height and comfort

  • ENGWE M20: suitable for riders about 160–190 cm tall.
  • ENGWE M1: suitable for riders about 160–195 cm tall, with a larger seat for long shifts.
  • Both have 20″ fat tyres and a Shimano 7-speed gear system, which make city riding on cobblestones and kerbs more comfortable.

Batteries and charging tips

  • Both bikes have two batteries. A full charge takes 4–5 hours, so charge them overnight and start every shift full.
  • In cold weather, keep the batteries indoors and charge them at room temperature — range drops in the cold.
  • Top up during long breaks instead of riding the batteries to zero.
  • Return the bike with charged batteries — otherwise a €5 recharging fee applies.

Which one should you choose?

  • ENGWE M20: best if you often carry the bike or want a lighter, more agile option.
  • ENGWE M1: best if you ride long shifts and value comfort and the strongest brakes.

Both bikes cost the same to rent: €60/week for 1 week, €55/week for 2 weeks or €50/week for a month, with a €100 refundable deposit. Not sure? Message us and we will help you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Do both bikes cost the same to rent?

Yes. The price, the deposit and the included equipment are the same for both models.

Which bike is better in winter?

Both have fat tyres that grip better on wet and uneven surfaces than narrow tyres. The M1’s hydraulic brakes need less hand force, which helps when you wear gloves.

Can I ride them on bike paths?

Yes. Both have a 250 W motor limited to 25 km/h and are EN 15194 certified, so they are treated as regular bicycles.
